Our History 

Our company legacy was founded in 1947 by Marvin Sokolow, Grandfather to our CEO, Marissa Stangl.  In the 1970’s, her father, Mark Sokolow, went to work for and eventually partnered with his Dad.  They worked together until 1993 when Mark began International Trading Group and Marvin retired.

Marissa Stangl, CEO at ITG Export & Design, began working for Mark in 1995 and learned the business from the ground up.  Having worked professionally in this business since then, she was fully prepared to open her own firm and move on to continue her Grandfather’s legacy when Mark retired in 2015.  In our 79 year history,  we have collectively supplied thousands of construction projects throughout the Caribbean.
